Rite Aid 2/10/13

Today was a big day!  Doesn't look like a lot, but when it's broken down, it's clear to see the savings!

This was done via two transactions, and got kinda complicated because I forgot to use 4 $1 coupons on the lightbulbs.  I'mma break it down for you.

This is what I got:

Transaction 1:
-4 GE CFL Lightbulbs @ 3.99 each = $15.96
-8 Gillette Fusion Shave Gels @ 3.99 each (Regularly 4.99, but I've got the GOLD discount) = $31.92
-4 Colgate Max Fresh @ 3.19 (Normally 3.99, GOLD disc. applies) = $12.76
-4 Sucret Losenges @ 1.50 = $6
-4 Loreal Revitalift blahblahblahs @ 16.99 and B1G1 Half Off = (16.99x2 + $8.49x2) = $50.96
-4 Skintimate Shave Gels @ $2.79 each (Reg $3.49, Gold Disc Applies) = $11.16

Total For First Transaction = $128.76 (Was $196 somethin before I scanned my reward card)

Used 4 $3 off CFL Bulb RITE AID coupon = -$12
Used 4 B1G1 Free Gillette Shave = -$15.96
Used 4 $.50 off Colgate = -$2
Used 4 $1 off Sucrets = -$4
Used 4 $5 off Revitalift RITEAID Coupon = -$20
Used 2 $2 off Revitalift = -$4

Used 2 B1G1 Free Skintimate = -$5.58
Used 2 $.55 off Skintimate (With B1G1 you can use a Q on the B1 part) = -$1.10

New Total After Coupons = $62.12

Used $62 in UPS from previous transactions to pay.

Ending Total = $.12!

I earned LOTS of ups from this transaction.  Rite Aid is also having their anniversary promotion going on, and if you buy $100 of selected items, you get a $20 UP back.  Then, for every $50 you spent on the selected items, you'll get a $10 UP back.  This comes into play a lot today.  ALSO I forgot to use my $1 off GE Bulb Manufacturer Coupon, and I get to put $4 towards my second transaction.

UPS Earned on Transaction 1:

-$12 from Colgate (Making this a MoneyMaker! $3.19 - $.50Q = $2.69, got bk $3 each)
-$2 from Sucrets (FREE After Reward, 2/$3 x2 = $6 - 4 $1qs = $2)
-$8 from Skintimate (Money Maker! 11.16 - $5.58 B1G1 - $1.10 off 1 = 4.48 got $8bk!)
-$10 for buying $30 of Gillette Skin Care (That made them like $.75 each)
-$10 for reaching a $50 milestone in the anniversary promo (Thanks Revitalift)
-$10 for buying $25 in Revitalift
-$10 for buying another $25 in Revitalift

Spent $62 in UPS, got bck $62!

BUTTTTTTT I forgot to use my $1 off GE Bulb Manufacturer coupons!  Thats $4 in UPS I wouldn't have had to use! Dammit!   However, Rite Aid can enter coupons and give you the cash back that you would have saved.  I used that $4 in transaction 2 in place of the UPS I would have used.

I noticed I was $9 away from my last $10 up for the Anniversary Promotion, and the lightbulbs are a part of the anniversary promotion, so I went back in and purchased 4 more lightbulbs, a mt dew, and 4 newspapers.

4 Bulbs @ 3.99 = $15.96
4 Newspapers @ 1.75 = 7
Mt Dew = $1.35

Total = $24.31

Used 4 $3 off Bulbs RA Coupon = -$12
Used the $4 from previous transaction that I forgot = -$4
Used 4 $1 Bulb Manufacturer coupons for this transaction = -$4

Total : $4.31

Received Another $10 UP Reward, and got my newspapers for the day which would have cost me $7 anyways!  It was a good day!
