I had a request to break it down, so here's my best shot at it. I'm really not that great at explaining it, but I'm going to try.
This week at Rite Aid.... if you buy $30 worth of select proctor and gamble products (as pictured in their AD), you'll receive a $10 UP reward back on your receipt.
In the Sunday Coupons from the 22nd of May, there was a coupon for Gillette Deodorant, Buy 1 Get 1 Free, as well as a $2 off Gillette Body Wash coupon.
I had 6 copies of each (6 is always the minimum amount of newspapers to buy). Rite Aid's new coupon policy limits the use of coupons to 4 Like Coupons per transaction, so in each transaction I used 3 of each.
12 Gillette Deodorants
6 Gillette Body Washes
Two Transactions done as follows...
Transaction 1:
6 Deodorants @ 3.50 Each = 21
Total : 31.50 (Enough to receive $10 UP Reward)
Used $3 off $15 = $28.50
Used 3 $2 off Gillette Body Wash = $22.50
Used 3 Buy 1 Get 1 Free Deodorant = $12.00
Used $10 UP From Previous Purchase = $2.00
Total : $2.00....Received $10 UP for buying $30 worth of P&G Products
Rinse and Repeat (except for the $3 off 15 coupon)! Use the $10 up from transaction 1 on transaction 2, and receive another $10 UP! I did use a different wellness card on the second transaction, as there is a limit of 1 $10 UP reward per "household".
I have 8 "Buy 1 Old Spice Deodorant, Get Old Spice Bodywahs Free" coupons coming, as well as 8 "Buy 1 Get 1 Free Gillette Body Wash" and 4 "$1 off Gillette Deodorant" even though I've taken about all the deodorants that were left, but I'm sure I'll be able to work something out. There were some Old Spice deodorants that had a bonus Body Spray included for free, which will make it even more awesome!
